Staff
TCC employs a staff of 14 from Bulgaria,
China, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, Poland, and
the United States.
Child-to-teacher ratios are excellent and are
strictly maintained at 3:1 in Toddlers, 4:1 in
Early Preschool, and 5:1 in
Pre-Kindergarten.
Teachers have the equivalent of Masters
degrees in education either overseas or in
the U.S. system. Associate Teachers have
Bachelors degrees in education or are
working toward their degrees (ECE or
related fields) with tuition assistance from
the center. All staff have completed 20
hours of basic child care training plus an
additional 10 hours yearly as well as 5
hours yearly of anti-bias training. TCC pays
for Adult and Pediatric CPR and First Aid
certification yearly for all staff. The center
also hosts workshops for administrators
and staff from neighboring centers. Please,
call the school office to schedule your class
in our Community Room.
Four teachers have celebrated their six-year
anniversaries at TCC, one her five-year, and
six their four-year anniversaries.
There is a wait list for employment at the

The volunteer Parent Council assists with
fund raising. Fund raising helps pay for
music and dance programs so that all
children may attend regardless of family
income.
Parents volunteer in our classrooms and on
field trips, sharing a wealth of cultural and
family traditions, stories, songs, dances,
recipes, and fun.
